It costs you nothing, and that is not a figure of speech. These pages have no endpoint behind them: the work happens in your browser, so there is no server bill to recover, no file of yours on a disk of ours, and no reason to ask you for an email address before showing you the answer.
What we get is that you found us while doing something we are good at. That seems a fair trade to put in writing.
Why we write them
These exist because we build a phone system, and each one is a job that lands on whoever looks after a business line: a greeting the upload refuses, a menu key that leads nowhere, a rota with a hole in it. If the tool settled your question, that is the whole exchange. If it showed you the problem is bigger than one file, tell us what your current system does that annoys you most; that is usually the shortest route to a useful conversation.
